The accomplished goalkeeper joined AmaZulu FC from Bidvest Wits ahead of the 2018-19 campaign. Josephs won major trophies with Ajax Cape Town, Orlando Pirates and Wits during his successful Premier Soccer League (PSL) career. The Cape Town-born shot-stopper is competing with Siyabonga Mbatha, Energy Murambandoro and Neil Boshoff in the AmaZulu goalkeeping department.

The former Golden Arrows, Bloemfontein Celtic, African Warriors, FC Cape Town, FC Cape Town and Thanda Royal Zulu goalkeeper joined Usuthu ahead of the 2017-18 season following a successful season in goal for Amabhubesi. With Boalefa Pule also arriving at the club, Mbatha will find healthy competition for the number one spot.
