Driven by his social commitment for youth, Roger believes that quality education, transparency, and the practice of civic and moral values are the best solutions to develop Africa. He volunteers for students’ capacity building by co-founding The Action for the Recovery of Morals in School and Student Environments (ARMEE), an NGO focused on promoting the culture of excellence. The organization provides mentoring and tutoring to youth, develops their projects, and fights against habits plaguing their education such as corruption, organized cheating, sexual abuse, and harassment. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Roger plans to continue his commitment to NGOs and other leadership programs who support youth education and development, advocate educational system improvement, and empower young women through education.
