Amon Murwira

Amon Murwira is a Zimbabwean politician who serves in the government of Zimbabwe as Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development since September 2018 under the Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa‘s government.

Qualifications:
BA Honours in Geography (UZ), Msc. in Environmental Systems Analysiand Monitoring, (Netherlands), PhD in Geo-Information Science (GIS, RS) for environmental systems analysis and monitoring (Netherlands)

Work Experience:
Ecologist responsible for GIS and Remote Sensing applications: Department of Natural Resources, Zimbabwe, 1994-1998
