Bonolo Ramokhele

Bonolo Ramokhele is the Treasurer General of Black Business Council. He is a qualified chartered accountant who holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences as well as an honours degree from Wits University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant having completed articles at Deloitte and Touche.

During the tenure at Deloitte and Touche, he managed audits for listed and unlisted clients spanning mining, engineering, pension funds, mining supplies, public sector and technology and also was a member of the firm’s Employment Equity Forum in Pretoria.

Bonolo Ramokhele sits on the boards of Tungsten Energy South Sudan, African Minerals Trading Company, Tecnation and Teseo Technology Systems. He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers community of leaders. He sits on the boards of the following organisations, Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa.

The businessman and executive chairperson of Differentia group of companies. He is an alumni of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers and has attended various WEF meetings on Africa and Davos.

At Differentia he has been lead partner in deal advisory on transactions in Agriculture and Mining with the largest transaction being a R300 million takeover. He has been a lead advisor on various transactions involving the Land Bank and Afgri. He is also a Chief Investment Officer at Tabara Holdings focusing on deal evaluation and making recommendations to investment committees of various funding partners on the merits of proposed deals and transactions.

The Treasurer General also sits on the council of CJC TVET College and serves as chairperson of the audit and risk committee and sits on the finance committee of the College. He has served ABASA in various capacities including chairing the ABASA Education Committee.

Ramokhele has also served in various committees within the Black Business Council including sitting on the National Council. He was recognized by SAICA as one of the top 35 Chartered Accountants under 35 in South Africa. He has been recognized by Forbes Africa magazine in 2014 as one of the entrepreneurs to watch out for in Africa.
