Caroline Grace

The Voice South Africa Season 2’s “Queen of Hearts”, Caroline Grace Brüssow actually started her creative life as a dancer, back in Bloemfontein, where she sang in the choir and took part in all of Eunice school’s big annual productions.

After school she turned to Law, completing her Law degree at the University of the Free State and clerking at the High Court in Bloemfontein. In 2013 her life took a different turn when she married Springbok rugby player Heinrich Brüssow, who is presently playing for the NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes in Osaka, Japan.

Currently living between Bloemfontein and Japan, Caroline and Heinrich flew in from Osaka especially for the Blind auditions. After her rendition of Céline Dion’s “Love me Back to Life” landed her a spot on “Team Bobby”. The show went on to see Caroline Grace grow week on week, and she rapidly gained more and more popularity as the weeks progressed.

The last woman standing, Caroline Grace was quickly snatched up by Universal Music and started recording on her debut album a week after the show’s finale.

Her debut single “Ek Bid Vir Jou” is an apt lyrical tribute to her husband who’s occupation commands a long-distance marriage.
