Chris is also an avid environmentalist who cares deeply about our social responsibility to protect and preserve South Africa’s incredible natural environment. As the founder of the non-profit organisation “Honeybee Heroes,” he is championing the cause of sustainable honey production and protecting South Africa’s vital honeybee population. Chris’s mission with Honeybee Heroes is threefold: ethical conservation, consumer education and female upliftment. The organisation upskills and trains disprivileged women in the Stanford community to become independent, small-scale beekeepers.
