Fabrice Nze-Bekale

Currently Managing Partner at ACT Afrique, the leading boutique investment banking and advisory firm in West Africa, Fabrice Nze-Bekale has built an international career in financial services, telecoms and mining, in the private and public sectors.

Before joining the ACT, Fabrice launched and ran the national mining company of Gabon (SEM) for 6 years. SEM has become the cornerstone investor in all major mining projects in Gabon.

Previously, he was the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Citibank in Gabon before joining Celtel International as Group Corporate Finance Manager where he reorganized the capital structure of a dozen subsidiaries to the tune of $ 1.5 billion, including the introduction of Celtel Zambia on the Lusaka Stock Exchange, and a landmark $300m multi-country facility with IFC, DEG and Proparco.

Fabrice also worked in the Global Telecoms and Media department of Standard Bank Plc in London, where he advised major industry players such as Helios Towers Africa, MTN Group, Orascom Telecom Holdings and Portugal Telecom in their activities in Africa.

Fabrice holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Engineering from the University of Paris-Dauphine (France) and an MBA from London Business School (UK).
