Germarie Bruwer

Germarie Bruwer is an interior designer turned blogger, TV presenter, author and all-round creative. With a successful design career that included working for Laura Ashley in the UK and Hong Kong, Fendi and Christian Dior in Asia Pacific and Queenspark in South Africa, she launched Homeology, in 2014.

She specializes in creative design and innovative concepts. She is a regular contributor for print magazines, newspapers, blogs and other media. She was also the presenter on 2 seasons of DSTV channel Via’s Stylstryd.

Her first book – Make Your Home (Penguin Random House / Struik Lifestyle 2015) co-written with stylist Margaux Tait, is available online from Leisure Books, Amazon and from all good bookstores.

Her award-winning blog, Homeology.co.za, focusses on home decor, DIY and trends.

Germarie has also written various ebooks on interior design and home décor, and won the SA Blog Awards for Best Arts & Crafts Blog 2014 & 2015.
