Ibrahima Boubacar Salou

Ibrahima Boubacar Salou has over six years of experience in public speaking and leadership, and over two years of experience in media systems. Currently, Ibrahima Boubacar Salou is a consultant at Canal 3, an international television channel. Through his role, he proposes projects, participates in information, awareness, and entertainment programs, and analyzes official speeches, including presidential speeches. He is also responsible for public relations management, responding to press blunders, and advising on all solicitations. As a competent communicator and leader, Ibrahima is also committed to training youth on public speaking and leadership. While these essential skills don’t exist in Niger school curricula, Ibrahima believes that public speaking and leadership skills are needed to become successful, as they allow anyone to bring out their best. Ibrahima holds a master’s degree in business law. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Ibrahima plans on helping Niger television channels improve their programs and television practices. He also wants to found an agency Next Leadership Lab, which will focus on training young people and graduates on public speaking and leadership, connecting young leaders with successful leaders, and connecting Niger young leaders to others young leaders from Africa and all over the world.
