Nieros Oyegun

Nieros Oyegun joined CDC in 2017 to lead The Africa List, CDC’s investment in the leaders and businesses responsible for Africa’s next decade of growth.

Nieros Oyegun comes to CDC with 15 years of experience in investment banking and alternative assets (EM debt and structured credit). She helped lead the development of Macquarie’s Africa infrastructure project finance and advisory business with landmark projects in toll roads, water treatment, power, and energy, and served for a time as Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations at an investee company, one of Nigeria’s largest deep offshore logistics businesses. She previously worked in alternative assets for New York hedge fund group New Holland Capital, trading credit and managing a structured hedge on long credit exposure at the portfolio level. She began her career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Nieros graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Mathematics and Economics from Columbia University and holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School, where she currently serves on the Dean’s Alumni Council and the Masters in Finance Programme Board.
