Olivier Granet

Olivier Granet is the former CEO of AccorHotels Middle East and Africa, where he was responsible for a portfolio of over 200 hotels consisting of 50,000 rooms across over 30 countries. He joined the Middle East team in 2011 at a time when the Group had 40 hotels in the region. With almost 20 years at AccorHotels, Olivier joined the Middle East team in 2011 during a time when the
Group had 40 hotels in the region. Heading Accor’s growth in the region, Olivier Granet made remarkable strides in growing the network, acquiring one new property signature every two weeks and
opening one hotel a month. From 2016 he took on the role of Chief Operating Officer Middle East. Further to adding Africa to his portfolio in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer MEA, Accor’s Middle East portfolio has more than tripled in size under Olivier’s leadership. Olivier holds a degree from the Grenoble Institute of Political Studies (Sciences-Po Grenoble) and an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Stayed in South Africa.
