Palesa Moloi

Palesa Moloi is a South African CEO and Co-Founder of ParkUpp, a startup parking app to a global audience. Palesa is a Chartered Accountant.

Palesa Moloi started ParkUpp in 2016 while serving her articles working for the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA). During her audit of the City of Johannesburg in Braamfontein (the 66 Jorissen Place building), which had very limited parking, she was sure that there were other buildings in the precinct nearby that had vacant parking spaces, as well as other businesses who were experiencing this lack of parking like we were.

ParkUpp is simply a marketplace that connects owners with idle driveways, garages, parking facilities and unused parking spaces to drivers who need parking.
