Rachel Maano Ndeshihafela Kalipi

Rachel Kalipi has eleven years of experience working in the diamond mining industry. She is currently a Management Accountant at De Beers Marine Namibia, the world’s largest marine diamond producer. Her key interests are in real estate investments, mentoring upcoming entrepreneurs, sustainable food production, and poverty eradication in Africa.Rachel Maano Ndeshihafela Kalipi is also a Global Chartered Management Accountant (GCMA, ACMA) and holds various qualifications in finance and diamond pipeline from universities in Namibia, South Africa and United Kingdom. Upon completion of the Washington Fellowship, Rachel plans to assist disadvantaged communities in Namibia by setting up backyard gardens to ensure that they have access to daily nutritional needs. She will also continue mentoring upcoming entrepreneurs and hopes to establish a career guidance center where she and fellow professionals can share their knowledge and experience with youth and contribute to the growth of the Namibian economy.
