Thierry Musole Matabishi

Thierry Musole Matabishi has 10 years of capacity building, communication, humanitarian and peacebuilding work experience. Thierry Musole Matabishi currently works as Training Officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in DR Congo and is a trainer in the ICRC Learning and Development Unit in Africa Region. Previously, Thierry worked as the Communication Officer at ICRC in the field, serving two years in the IHL and Human rights dissemination sector. Prior to the ICRC, Thierry worked for three years as the CEO of Aid and Action for Peace, a non-profit whose mission is to tackle land and natural resources issues in the eastern DR Congo. Thierry has also worked at World Vision International as a Child Protection Officer within an internally displaced person’ (IDP) project. As a lawyer, he volunteers for legal counseling for rural communities on land matters. He plans to create a law firm specialized in environmental and civil law with an emphasis on supporting widows and girl child access to land inheritance in DR Congo
(Africa).
