Babes Wodumo

Babes Wodumo, whose real name is Bongekile Simelane is a South African MTV European Music Awards nominee who spring-boarded the Gqom musical sensation which is currently taking the country by storm with her smash hit ‘Qqom’ hits. The star has gone on to release multiple hit records as she continues to push herself and her musical genre creatively – something that has garnered her a massive following. She recently appeared on Marvel’s Black Panther soundtrack and has just released a new single titled ‘Orkant’ with Major Lazer.

Babes Wodumo appeared in Black Panther: The Album on a song called “Redemption”. She was nominated for the 2017 BET Award for Best International Act: Africa.
