Hardlife Muhamba

Hardlife Muhamba is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Banking and Finance and currently studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Manager with MANCOSA and a Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, USA.

He is a published Author, Career Coach, and Career Branding Strategist who has translated his skills and experience to assist thousands of individuals in over 25 countries to realise who they are, where they are going and the path they should take. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Hardy The Coach, a Human Capital Management and consulting firm operating in South Africa and Zimbabwe.In 2020 during the Covid19 pandemic, he quit his job to start Hardy The Coach, a Career Coaching and Branding company registered in South Africa and Zimbabwe. He has been instrumental in leading the company to attain a clientele base of 150+ clients a month in 25+ countries in Africa, Europe, Asia and America. His major wins in a short tenure as the Managing Director of Hardy The Coach includes:

• Grew clientele base from a single country to 25+ countries and 5 continents including Europe, Africa and Asia in just under 2 years.

• Led the expansion of the services into Zimbabwe including company registration, strategy formulation, marketing and partnerships with various stakeholders.

• Administered over 1500 career coaching and career branding sessions per month to individuals and businesses physically and virtually (Teams, Google Meet and Zoom).

• Created ground-breaking strategies, authored business plans, and established tactical goals resulting in 120% increase in yearly revenue.

Hardlife has also founded 4 other businesses in the last 7 years in the areas of civil engineering and construction, Information Technology and financial services operating in South Africa and Zimbabwe. He has developed proposals and won projects worth +40 million Rand in the Civil Engineering and Construction sector in the last 12 months including leading operations, management and implementation.

Hardlife is motivated by helping young people fulfil their God given talents and currently donates 1% of his proceeds to CareerAid (NPO) he started, which provides bursaries to academically talented and economically challenged students in South Africa. Through funding from Hardy The Coach we are providing bursaries to 25 kids and hoping to double the figure to 50 in the next 24 months. He is also a volunteer mentor with various organisations including Teach a Man to Fish and CareerAid to help the next generation of leaders know themselves before they lead others in their communities and in business.

He was recently selected and currently participating as a Mandela Washington Fellow, the flagship program of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). YALI was created in 2010 and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020. Established in 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellowship has brought nearly 5,800 young leaders from every country in Sub-Saharan Africa to the United States for academic and leadership training. The Fellows, between the ages of 25 and 35, are accomplished innovators and leaders in their communities and countries.

He was also selected as a Semi Finalist for the TransUnion South Africa Rising Star Award 2023 under the Entrepreneur of the Year category.
