Andisa Liba

Andisa Liba pursued a Diploma in Public Relations. She is currently pursuing another diploma in management.

Ms Andisa Liba is an experienced HR Executive who has contributed immensely to human capital development and has been doing so for many years. Ms Liba has experience in different sectors of the South African economy. She is a very versatile professional and has made significant impact wherever she has worked.

Ms Liba has positively impacted people within and beyond the HR profession through being available to share her skills and knowledge on relevant platforms. She has also availed herself to mentor young professionals and young people especially girls in key skills so that they can have meaningful careers.

Ms Liba is a consummate professional and a top-notch team player who willingly seeks to amplify the talents of others. She demonstrated this and many of her excellent qualities when working as a volunteer in one of the Institute of People Management (IPM) committees. She is also committed to uplifting and solving problems to make life better for others. She is not shy to try new things that make a real difference in a holistic way in the workplace.

Ms Liba is an asset and is making a difference in the lives of many people within and outside the HR profession. Her work positively impacts many stakeholders and communities. Ms Liba is a person who is purpose driven and upholds high professional standards and values.

With over 15 years as an HR practitioner spanning across financial services, consulting, digital media & music as well as fintech start up’s having lead teams across the African continent within these industries. Andisa is a regular current affairs commentator and contributor on multiple media platforms. She serves as an executive advisor to several human capital advisory boards offering her progressive expertise.

Andisa Liba is a co-founder of Women’s Tech Connection, an ICT non-profit organisation designed to give access to opportunities and learning repositories to women in the technology sector. Andisa has been recognized by Cisco’s global Connected Black Professionals for her exceptional contribution to the advancement of women in the technology arena in Africa.

Andisa is the CEO of the Pan African Chamber of Commerce where she advocates for a business environment conducive to enterprise creation & development, generating employment opportunities that contribute towards the socio-economic development of Africa. In this role she fosters a vibrant & interconnected business community where collaboration increases capacity, education enhances ability and advocacy influences authority.

Andisa is a nominee in the 2023 edition of Forty under 40 Africa where she has been recognized for her accomplishments as business leader and social impact pioneer. Andisa was a finalist in the 2023 edition of the Sentech Africa Tech Week in the category of Africa Tech: Women in Tech Award. Andisa is a semi-finalist in the 2023 South Africa Rising Star Awards under the Banking & Financial Services category.

Andisa co-founded a women’s development program called Women’s Tech Connection where she enables & advocates for women in STEM who are ambitious to become CCIE engineers. Her work and program have been supported and sponsored by Cisco Global as an innovative program. Cisco in 2022 awarded & recognized Andisa as a shining example of Black Excellence within the Engagement Pillar category for her exceptional contributions to young women in Africa and being at the forefront of the creation of this movement for the continent.

Andisa is selfless in her quest to add value to the communities she touches, whether through community work or her professional endeavours. She has served diligently to the HR community under the IPM, always on the frontlines of advocacy work not only in South Africa but in neighbouring countries as well. Andisa is a young woman that doesn’t take her privilege lightly but uses it to empower others and open doors they can’t access. A real role model to others not only in the HR fraternity but to the nation at large.
