Marie Sebueng
Marie Sebueng is the founder and CEO of IAMS Powerhouse. A Human Resources and Organizational Development consultancy, “Changing The Way Leaders Learn and Grow in Africa”. She is dynamic businesswoman, keynote speaker, mentor and executive coach, leading various programs that advocates for entrepreneurship, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development across Africa. She holds an honours degree in industrial psychology and certification from the Berne Institute in UK and completed executive leadership development at GIBS. She is a passionate advocate for Women in Leadership, and a member of the global network Women Presidents Organization (WPO). Escaping death, she founded the business after surviving a critical illness in 2018. “I am blessed to work that is purpose driven, developing leaders and businesses on our continent” creating a greater network of female founders in Africa, indication that “true empowerment will come from increased economic trade and activity in Africa for Africa”.
As a seasoned executive with over 15 years experience, she has held positions in various listed organizations, Investec, Momentum (MMI), ArcelorMittal and American Towers a Fortune 500, and Forbes Global 2000 listed company. She has made a significant contribution to various industries including financial services, manufacturing and telecommunications. Operating in Europe Middle East and Africa.
