Helio Aurelio Banze

Helio Aurelio Banze has over 10 years of experience in the community development sector, specifically focusing on social investment, community engagement and consultation in Mozambique and Malawi (Mwanza, Chikwawa, Balaka, Neno and Machinga Districts) and sustainability reporting (GRI). Currently, Helio Aurelio Banze is a Social Investment Coordinator at Anadarko Mozambique(Africa) Area1, where he focus on corporate social investment (CSR), project implementation, and reporting. Helio holds a Master’s Degree in Agrarian Development from Eduardo Mondlane University, where he focused on rural development. Helio has versatile corporate social responsibility driven by his commitment to social development and one day he hopes to witness a completely integrated social protection and equality. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Helio plans to continue his work in social investment with a focus on social protection.
