Njamba Chitali

Njamba Chitali is a teacher by profession with over four years’ experience in various fields in the community development sector. This includes reproductive health education, peace and conflict resolution and leadership, and public management. Njamba is currently head of the English department at Moxico Teachers’ College in Luena, Moxico Province in Angola, as well as the vice provincial coordinator for ANELTA, an association for English language teachers in Angola. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Njamba Chitali plans to continue working on peace and conflict resolution, gender issues, respect for human rights, education, and health education. Chitali believes that the future of Africa is in the hands of our youth and would like to cooperate and work hand in hand in order to make Africa a peaceful and secure place to live.
