OKYEREBEA AMPOFO-ANTI

Okyerebea Ampofo-Anti specialises in all aspects of media law and public law. Her vast experience includes providing advice on defamation law, print and electronic media law, data protection law and compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act. Ampofo-Anti’s expertise extends to general commercial litigation and constitutional law, including human rights law and free speech law. She has advised a number of significant clients in the media industry and public sector. Ampofo-Anti has written on the topics of media freedom and access to information. She spent a year working as a clerk for Chief Justice Pius Langa at the Constitutional Court of South Africa, and six months as an intern in the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court.

Ampofo-Anti has an LLB degree and an LLM degree from the University of Pretoria.
