Renan Ozyerli

Renan Ozyerli is Regional President for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) at MSD, overseeing the human health business in 80+ countries and close to 1300 staff. In his position as President, Renan ensures that MSD is delivering its innovative lifesaving medicines and vaccines as well as long-term and sustainable value to patients, customers and governments across EEMEA. Renan has more than 30 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals. He joined MSD in 2013 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in the MidEurope and EEMEA regions. Prior to taking up his post as EEMEA President, Renan led the MSD Turkey cluster, overseeing the organization’s operations in one of the world’s most challenging economic environments. Prior to joining MSD, Renan held several leadership positions at Pfizer and Novartis, starting in sales and later transitioning to marketing and market access. He has led various business units across therapeutic areas including Oncology, Immunology and Anti-infectives. Renan is a Turkish national and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Bosphorus University and an MBA degree in Management from Marmara University in Istanbul.
