Frank Damas Mutagoma

Frank Damas Mutagoma has over two years’ experience working in the field of justice and human rights. Currently, Mr. Mutagoma is the Acting Senior State Attorney in charge of Human Rights and Treaty Body reporting in the Rwandan Ministry of Justice. He is the focal person for all human rights issues, and he focuses on developing and evaluating policies and strategies for protection and promotion of human rights in Rwanda.Frank Damas Mutagoma holds a master’s degree in Public International Law from Kigali Independent University. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mutagoma plans to continue working in justice and human rights field to edify the post-genocide reconstruction of his country and achieving the rule of law for sustainable development in Rwanda.
