Muriel Mamoepa-Itholeng is a South African director of Penini Holdings a supply and logistics company. She uses her influence to empower young girls by running a monthly pad drive at a school in Diepsloot. This drive focuses on female personal hygiene and prepares the young ladies for  life after high school.

Muriel Mamoepa-Itholeng believes that the nature and qualifications in concept development, brand strategy, corporate communications, consumer behavior, integrated marketing communication and digital branding has prepared her to put what she learnt to practice. She is an integrated marketing, strategy and activation professional with a growing track record with 4 years of experience. She has a diverse marketing-mix skill set in portfolio and business growth, brand positioning, innovation, brand awareness and recognition, integrated marketing communications, channel segmentation, and business development.

Muriel has strong competencies in people management, cross-functional project leadership, analytical & strategic thinking, influencing & building value-based relationships, and delivering results. Proven experience in brand building and achieving successful market reach and expansion. At Penini as the Chief Executive my role is be agile, to create meaningful connections between the brand, the market and our key stakeholders including shareholders, customers, government and our people.

A key area of focus is defragmenting the Business into a coherent, authentic brand story. She is responsible for business growth, leading and delivering against strategy, creative, business and brand awareness and recognition, marketing and strategic partnership relationships.

In addition, I lead marketing competencies, assessment and capability development across Penini Holdings while leading and tracking productivity goals driving best practice.
I have a passion for managing highly effective brand strategies and senior team members. Highly proficient at collaborating with multiple stakeholders and key business partners to determine audience interest and develop strategic go-to-market plans. Nthabiseng is a graduate from Vega School of Brand Leadership with an Honours qualification in Strategic Brand Communication.
